What is a Crystal Portrait?

The Crystal Portraits that Valerie Visser Photography Studio offers are a solid, 1"-thick Acrylic Blocks and they make your portraits into a perfect sexy piece of bedside decor.

Each block can stand on its own either vertically or horizontally. Each block edge is sanded and buffed to a crystal-clear finish.

Our lab creates the Acrylic Blocks by mounting thick, polished acrylic to the face of a print for fuller color gamut, greater vibrancy and the best quality product. First your portrait is first printed as a Giclée Print. Gicléeprinting uses archival-grade, 10-ink printers to convey a wider color gamut- from saturated tones to light pastels making them perfect for boudoir portraiture. The high-gloss acrylic layer magnifies the color and definition and depth of the print beneath it.
