THIS IS MY JOURNEY 

Before I became a boudoir photographer, my life looked very different. I was in an emotionally abusive relationship that kept me from stepping into the business I had dreamed of starting. Even after I left and eventually built a new life with my loving, supportive husband, there were still challenges—walking away from a full-time job that didn’t respect my role as a mother, and hearing my boss say I was “putting all my eggs in one basket” when I chose photography and my husband's support. But I pushed forward. Looking back now, 11 years later, the most rewarding part is seeing how that leap created space for so many women to experience their own transformation in front of my camera.

From one of my very first clients, I learned that this work is about so much more than pictures. She came in feeling disconnected, unworthy and depressed but when she saw her images it shifted her confidence, as she healed, her marriage healed, even the way she saw herself. Watching that transformation unfold is what made me realize this work is truly life-changing.

I understand the nerves because I’ve felt them myself. The first time I stepped in front of the camera for my own boudoir session, I almost backed out. But once I let myself be seen, really seen. I discovered a new strength and confidence I didn’t know I had. Things were different the way I responded to life and situations changed. That’s exactly what I want every woman to feel when she leaves my studio: important, beautiful, and capable of more than she ever imagined.

When I’m not photographing women, you’ll often find me with my husband, Ken, my greatest encourager from the start—exploring new places, trying local restaurants, or traveling (Ireland is my favorite destination so far). I’m also a proud mom of three daughters and a fur mom to two spirited poodles who keep life interesting.

At the heart of it all, I believe women deserve to be celebrated. Because when you see yourself as strong, beautiful, and absolutely worthy, you also discover your ability to push past fear and do the hard things you never thought you could.

Above all, I want you to walk away not only loving your images, but saying to yourself, "I never knew I could feel this way"
